Christopher Beamsley, LCPC

M.Div., M.A.P.C.C.

Chris is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, practicing in the southwest suburban area of Joliet, Illinois. He has served as a Lutheran pastor for over 20 years. Chris returned to school and earned a Master of Arts degree in pastoral care and counseling through a joint program of Garrett Theological Seminary and the Center for Religion and Psychotherapy of Chicago. 

Chris also attended the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago where he earned a Master of Divinity degree in 1995, the same year he was ordained as a pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Chris' undergraduate alma mater is Augustana College in Rock Island where he studied psychology and religion. 

Chris enjoys camping and canoeing and he considers the Boundary Waters in northern Minnesota his ‘holy place’.
