Growth - Healing - Wellness. We don't have to do it alone.

Whether we are hoping to grow as a person, heal from pains or hurts from the past or present, or simply be well, there are times we could all use some help.

As a licensed professional clinical counselor, I offer counseling and in-depth psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families. My approach to counseling has its foundation in Self-Psychology and psychodynamic psychotherapy, but I incorporate techniques from many types of therapy including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), grief therapy and positive psychology depending on the needs of the the client. I also welcome and respect clients’ spirituality and religious beliefs, whatever the faith.

My specialty areas include working with adolescents and adults who are struggling with:

  • ADHD

  • PTSD

  • Grief

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Relationship issues.

Some of the areas for which I can offer counseling include:

Life transitions - such as adolescence, relationship issues, pre-marital, marriage, divorce, grief/loss, parenting and family issues.

Personal concerns, struggles, mental health - depression, stress/anxiety, ADHD, working through trauma and traumatic experiences, addiction, issues around sexual orientation or gender identification, development and strengthening coping skills.

Personal growth - confidence in self, use of one's talents and energies more effectively, improvement of overall quality of life.

These are just some of the areas in which I work. There are, of course other areas and issues as well. So, whatever it may be that brought you to look up this site, I hope that you will take the next step. Let's talk about what you are experiencing and how the counseling and psychotherapy I offer may be helpful to you. It could be exactly what you need right here and right now in your life.
